Happy Hump Day! The days are definitely longer, the cherry blossoms are blooming and my allergies are in full swing…It’s safe to say that spring is upon us. With warmer weather comes events, like Dinner En Blanc where the special lucky guests get to enjoy dinner in Vancouver’s gorgeous locations to be announced, and get to delight in an all white affair of dinner, drinks and merriment. One of the things that come with DEB is the all white attire. Here’s some all white attire for inspiration!
I love the jumpsuit look, but not necessarily jumpsuits. I think the difficulty in going to the bathroom somewhat lost its appeal along the way. I do still like the look of jumpsuits however, and a good way to do this is to go monochromatic. The lightness of the fabrics makes it ideal during the warmer weather and will work when the sun goes down! I love fedoras, and this one was a recent find from Gap and pull the look together!
I am inlove with this top! The drama of the sleeves, it just elevates this look from what would otherwise look like an office attire. I love the slit of the pencil skirt — conservative from the back, and a peek-a-boo side from the front!
If you’re wearing all white, the one thing that will set you aside from looking like a doctor or lab technician is adding some drama into your wardrobe. Dramatic bell sleeves can achieve that! I love the bell sleeves on this dress and the belt defines the waist on an otherwise boring shift dress.
Considering an all white dress? Consider lace, very romantic and screams summer! This dress is effortless and yet romantic that it’s pefect for a night out, especially for Dinner en Blanc! Pair it with heels for a more upscale look or with sandals for a more casual look.
I hope that these outfits have given you some inspiration on your outfit for Dinner en Blanc. White can be a little boring and if not careful, could look a little lab-like. Think of the key details, drama, the material and detailing like fit and flare or strong sleeves can make all the difference!
