Happy Monday! I hope your long weekend was as good, with the nice weather holding up for whatever you ended up doing as well as for the 100 year celebration of Remembrance Day. Lest we forget the sacrifices that those that have gone before us and the freedoms they have made possible.
Saturday was a nice, quiet date night near the neighborhood. We ended up going to Burgoo Bistro on Main street which was closer around our neighborhood than going downtown. It gave me a chance to wear my new trench coat from Banana Republic which I’m just loving!
It was a cold night and I am glad that the coat held up in the colder, crisp air. I’ve realized as the years have gone by that a good, warm coat is more important to invest in than fast fashion coats that don’t keep me warm.
We ended up eating at the bar but it was fine, enough space for us. The food was delicious!
All in all, a quieter night than what we would have found in downtown Vancouver, which worked out in a way.
It was a beautiful night and I couldn’t pass the opportunity to take pictures in the nice, cool night.
