Dress Series: The Pink Tweed

I am in love with this pink tweed–it is a combination of my favorites, the colour pink and the ladylike style that it exudes.  Fact: When I was a child, I hated dresses and I hate the colour pink.  I was a tomboy through and through and wouldn’t be caught anywhere with a dress.  I detested them so much that whenever my parents would throw a birthday party for me and would try to get me to wear a dress, it would require alot of whining and begging for the alternative which were shorts.  Of course as I grew up, my opinions have changed (obviously) and have turned a 180 degrees and ended up loving pink, and dresses!

This dress, which I found at Banana Republic Factory store, is a classic silhouette which works perfectly for work and after!  The combination of black, white and pastel green within allows for more colour combos to ensure than you can switch up your accessories for each occasion.  I find that this dress can work for weekends as well with some wedge sandals or sandal flats and a nice white cardi!

For a dress that can be a classic piece to carry you through each season, pick a classic silhouette like a sheath dress and it will never go out of style!
