Wool Plaid for Fridate

Friday is my favorite day of the week for a few reasons– the obvious is that it’s the end of the work week; it’s also mine and hubby’s date night while we were dating and can be the start of long weekends!   Now that we’re married and somewhat homebodies, any friday that we find time to go for date night is the highlight of my weekend!

I was looking forward to this as work had been stressful that day, and the weather had turned out nicely so I was looking forward to getting home and just finally enjoying my long weekend.  I knew that a good weather day meant that it would be a good night to head out for dinner too!  Even with the dry weather, it was sure to be a chilly night so i made sure to dress warm! I love my plaid coat from aritzia, warm enough without feeling bulky.

We decided to stick around the neighborhood since we wanted a nice, casual dinner out.  I have to admit, i love casual nights out sometimes as much as our dressed up outtings.  It’s nice to just enjoy the company and not have to feel too stuffy.  On this night, we decided to check out one of our favorite places to go to, Chaise Lounge on Main street.  I love that their appy platter has good options and you’re not just stuck to the small non-filling bites.

Where else can you go that will have quesedillas and steak bites as options on their appetizer platters? It was definitely filling, combined with a side of fries (that wasn’t quite a side portion lol).  If you’re in the neighborhood, try it, it’s an awesome place that serves delicious food and great vibes.
