Sunday casual for Brunch

Any sunny day in Vancouver is welcomed when days go by and it’s rain and more rain.  On one of these sunny days, we decided to head down to one of our favorite places to eat near gastown, Meat and Bread.  It’s one of those places that doesn’t have a lot of fuss, but serves one of the best porchetta sandwiches ever! Of course they also serve some delicious specials, though the porchetta has to be my fave!

At their peak times, the line up can snake around almost to the outside! We came in time though, as we nearly escaped the line up that came after we finally sat down to eat.  I always get the porchetta while my hubby likes to walk on the wild side and always gets whatever is on special.

As you can see, the glamour shots of our chow down.

It was a good brunch day as gastown was filled with tourists enjoying the area and the steam clock.
