Weekend recap: Lions Game, Birthdays and Sunday Mass

Happy Belated Canada Day!

Time flies fast! The weekend came and went and then it was back to work last Monday for one day.  A lot of people complained about the fact that Canada Day fell on a Tuesday and that we ended up having to show up to work instead of having an extended weekend.  All the whining and belly-aching didn’t fly with the bosses (who were both noticeably absent on Monday btw) and so we still put in at least 6 hours of work in.  Not bad right?

Last weekend we experienced some weird weather starting on Saturday when we got some drizzle and sun for the BC Lions Home Opener.  Sadly, they lost to the Edmonton Eskimos but it was still a fun day!

IMG_7336We then we headed over to a friend’s birthday bbq.  I only expected to stay a couple of hours but we had so much fun catching up that we left at almost 1am!

Sunday was a lazy day, started off with dim sum in North Van at my fave place, then Mass in the afternoon.

It was pouring hard an hour before we went to mass but luckily the temperamental sunshine came out just in time so I was able to wear my tunic to church!

How was your weekend?
